Excerpts from a journal I kept while working on Rapunzel. I needed to believe in her as if she were real so I documented my life and thoughts when I was at home not doing anything in particular and translated them into Rapunzel’s world. When it came time to paint her murals I felt like I had a good idea of what she would be thinking about while she was painting.

Story:
The Israelites are slaves of Egypt. A new king named Bowser came to power over Egypt. But Mario and Luigi escaped from Egypt to Midian where they married Peach and Eclair. Then Mario and Luigi went back to Egypt and to Pharaoh Bowser. God sent many plagues (such as frogs, lice, wild beasts and locusts) over Egypt. Then the Israelites are free from Egypt. Mario and Luigi wrote the 10 Commandments and became judges over Israel.

Actually, that’s a common misconception. Cats kill animals and bring them to you because they think you’re a shitty hunter and they don’t want you to starve.
So it’s kind of love, but it’s mostly because you suck at catching food
I’m pretty sure “I don’t want you to starve” is the maximum level of love cats are able to give.
